Man arrested following robbery at Norwalk bank
A Bridgeport man is facing charges following a bank robbery in Norwalk.
According to officials, on Monday around 1:10 p.m., units responded to a report of a robbery at the People’s United Bank at 11 Belden Avenue.
The caller told police that a man entered the bank with a gun and was demanding money and then fled on foot after receiving cash.
While searching the area, officers found 59-year-old Mark Dallaire. After examining evidence obtained at the scene of the crime and at Dallaire’s location, police arrested him.
