Friday morning update on Hidalgo County COVID-19 testing

The latest Hidalgo Couny COVID-19 testing numbers from Friday morning indicate 230 have been tested here with 148 testing negative. Late Thursday night, officials announced two more positive cases -a 61-year-old San Juan woman and a 48-year-old Pharr woman – bringing the total number of positive cases to 11. Additional COVID-19 cases reported in Pharr, San Juan

Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez announced two additional cases of the coronavirus Thursday evening, bringing the total number of confirmed cases for the county to 11. Ninth Person in Hidalgo County Tests Positive for COVID-19

HIDALGO – A ninth person in Hidalgo County has tested positive for COVID-19, Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez announced Thursday morning. The person is a 31-year-old male Pharr resident.Investigators with the Hidalgo County Health and Human Services Department are actively involved in interviewing the patient.
