ATV Rollover Kills Harlingen Man

An accident involving an ATV claimed the life of a Harlingen man early this morning. The Department of Public Safety says 27-year-old Daniel Escalera was operating the ATV in a residential area in west Harlingen and lost control of the vehicle near McCullough Street and Washmon Avenue. Majority of COVID-19 cases in minors over the weekend come from unaccompanied children

Woman Struck By Car, Killed In Harlingen

A woman was struck by a vehicle and killed in Harlingen and police are holding the driver. It happened near a commercial area along South 77 Sunshine Strip south of South Carolina Street at around 7:30 Monday morning.
