Rare sea turtle spotted

Sea turtle watchers rejoiced last week when a rare Kemp’s ridley sea turtle was spotted nesting in New Smyrna Beach. Burn ban lifted

Volusia County Fire Rescue will lift the outdoor burn ban for the county’s unincorporated areas at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, June 2.
