Winsted families enjoy a sunny Sunday

WINSTED – Sunday’s beautiful weather gave residents a chance to spend the day outdoors, doing yard work, walking the dogs or playing outside, taking a break from the “stay inside” request during the coronavirus crisis. American Mural Project offers summer camps

WINSTED – The American Mural Project is offering a variety of summer camps for children ages 7-12. The camp schedule includes two weeks of Outdoor Design & Building instruction for youth ages 12-16, and a two-week Digital Story Work internship program for young adults ages 17 and older. Auxiliary’s work supports local communities

WINSTED – Around 1900, a group of women started an auxiliary group to support the Litchfield County Hospital, located on Spencer Street. Members organized themselves and started up a thrift shop, collecting unwanted items, cleaning them up and reselling them. ‘Ain’t I A Woman’ coming to Winsted March 10
