Stonington Harbor Yacht Club to host model ship event

An educational event featuring Roger Hambidge titled, “Plank-on-frame Models: Art as Insight from experience of a Master Shipwright,” will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Stonington Harbor Yacht Club, 32 Water St.Hambidge constructs miniature wooden boats, exactly to scale, showcasing their combination of engineering, art and history.
