Harwinton Volunteer Fire Department

The HVFD recently purchased a washer/extractor and a dryer to clean Fire Fighters gear after it is used at a fire. Smoke contains carcinogens that have been linked to increased risks of various types of cancer in Fire Fighters. Our Ladies Auxiliary donated $11,000 for the purchase, money that was raised at the annual Father’s READ MORE.
